To Bring Hope

To Bring Hope

If only we could see that the hope lies with all of us.

Then we could truly bring hope.

Writer's Block: Spirits

Do you believe in ghosts? Have you ever encountered one?
I believe in them, haven't encountered one though.  I do believe that they exist and that they need our help at times.

Getting back into design

Started working on a few generic web interfaces because I'm looking into applying at a local computer shop as a web designer. You can actually see a few that I've worked on in my deviantART Gallery, I think I'll be posting some extremely generic items to my CarbonMade gallery as well.

I actually enjoy design to tell you the truth :)

In other news, my little one (haven't posted about her here yet :)) is quite the walker, take a look.

The Tiger in the Mirror

So, Tiger Girl, has been a WIP since '03. Here is one of the newest images of our dear Kaitlin, she's sure come a long way since the beginning. This is a slight spoiler for Chapter Five, but as that will soon be posted (I hope).

"After getting dressed she paused to look at herself in the mirror, and blinked. For a second or two she thought she saw a shadow behind her reflection, a shadow of herself in her hybrid tiger form." - Chapter Five

Image rendered in Daz|Studio, individually. The room, the mirror, all three figures, each was rendered separately.

If you want to know more about this "tale of tails" please check out the main website at http://tigergirl.end-day.net.

How do I find rips?

There are a few different ways to see if your work has been stolen or 'ripped'.  I myself prefer Google's Image Search, but now I use TinEye to search the exact image.  I can even report rips to deviantART artists when I browse PhotoBucket using the Rip Detector GreaseMonkey script.

There are also some nice tutorials out there on devART, and I'll link a few of them here, actually strike that, I'll link to a devART member (I think that s/he has a LJ too.... thedahelper) known as thedeviantHELPer.  Don't forget to check his/her favorites (tough without knowing someone's gender isn't it?).

I like the TinEye service so far, they haven't got much of the 'net indexed, but it's already helpful.  I especially love the FireFox plugin that lets me right-click and search TinEye without even having to visit the site page.

Otherwise you can ocasionally find me lurking in artists_beware and art_theft.  I will also be posting to cute_crafts once I get my new product pictures done. :)  I do have to repost my info to dacomreqtrad as well.

Gotta go, mommyhood calls. :)

YouTube AMVs

Sad truth, I make AMVs... and post them on YouTube.

Here are a few of mine, I'll be making more when I get more ideas. :)

The last one is my oldest.

New 3D Freebie posted...

I just posted a new 3D freebie, check it out at http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=91836&highlight=.  :)

Oh, you have to like my model choice for that particular one.  She looks kind of like I imagine Ginny would look from the Harry Potter books. :)

3D Freebies?

I am a Daz|Studio user, and occasionally I make freebies for Poser/Daz|Studio.  I also am working on some paid texture sets.  Here is a list of freebies I released in the past week...

  • Esoteric Style for the MFD - http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=91006
  • Fairy Camo for V3 Fairy Dress, Tunic Jammies for Daz Tunic, Crop Style for EvilInnocence SMS T-shirt, Fun4MyShirt for AerySoul's MyShirt2 - http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=91471
The Zips are mirrored at: http://www.end-day.net/mirror/ if you can't get them from 4Shared.

Fan: LoZ Hero of Time

I have to laugh at this one; this is a fanart for one of my absolute favorite video game series of all time, and I'm not joking.

Link from the Legend of Zelda series (quite often called "The Hero of Time") leaning against an ancient clock.

I did this piece earlier this year, but still haven't got it colored.  I want to do a follow up that will show Link in a field with waist high grass (Lawnmower much?) to pick on one of the series' new faults.

Oh well, still was fun.
